Mike Posner has recently dropped a new mixtape, One foot out of the door, and has really out done the first one in my opinion. The cover is so crazy & delusional, yet eye catching and extemely creative. Though it's only his second mixtape, it includes Saigon, Freddie Gibbs, Big Sean, Bun B, KiD CuDi and more. Let's see where I start, as some know now, Mr.Hudson is making is way up the music scene, along with his G.O.O.D Music folks. Not only is he coming up with his own kind of flow, but he has been brung up with big names like Jay-z on his album BP3. Now Mr.Hudson will have his own album to worry about, and in my opinion it is a real official classic. I've heard some of it, and I recommend you listen to "There will be tears" and "Time". They are really killer, and so is this new artist. More of a Indie Rock look but elements of Pop, Contemporary R&B and Alternative hip hop as well. Will be released December 1, 2009. Please, check it !

A change for is usual by Lupe. This dope NEW Lupe Fiasco and it's called "Solar Midnite" off the upcoming New Moon motion picture soundtrack. The rock element of the song is immediately introduced to the listener. In my eyes, Lupe really kills it throughout the song, beginning to end. Listen, and Enjoy.

This is my favorite Wale track, thus far. The D.C based rapper is a new addition to Jay-Z's Roc Nation. Rihanna brings this one alive, and puts her own touches as well, even though it is a sample from an unknown track on her new still in the works album. But speaking of albums, this song will definatly be on Wale's Attention Deficit which is due out November 10th.

Adiidas or Jordans?

We all know Michael Jordan is the greatest to touch a basketball, but can his son live up to the hype? Marcus Jordan, a freshman at the University of Central Florida, won’t be wearing adidas Basketball footwear all season long like the rest of his teammates during his first year on the UCF Basketball Team. His college team has been sponsored by adidas for the past few years, but Marcus will wear Air Jordans. “It’s a level of importance with the Jordan Brand and my family,” Marcus Jordan said . “It’s no disrespect to adidas. I have a high level of respect for adidas, but I’m going to be wearing Jordan shoes. I’m wearing the adidas uniform and all my other UCF gear is adidas, but the shoes are going to be Jordan Brand.”

This band, Explosions in the sky, are the first band I've heard of who are an instrumental post-rock band. Their name is kinda dope, and their style of music is even more creative. The actual track of the day is named, Your hand in mine. Yea I know sounds cheesy, but it's better than you what you think. The guitars play a major role in all their songs, but I think they really kill it in this one. You'll know what I mean if you jam to this song a couple times. Check it.

Pac Div as we know it today consists of brothers Mibbs and Like, and their friend BeYoung. They launched an online campaign and generated an enormous buzz with their 2006 mixtape, Sealed for Freshness: The Blend Tape. The group's penchant for lyricism and infectious beats earned them a spot on Two Tones Production roster, readying Pac Div to make some noise in '09 with their upcoming debut, Grown Kid Syndrome. This will be one of those moments of not knowing what to expect, but if you have heard the mixtape you know you'll be expecting some raw influences by OutKast & Pharcyde, which are real dope groups as well. The Air Jordan (black/bright concord-aqua tone) also known as simply the aquas, or air jordan aqua 8's were originally released in February, 1993, & only retailed for $125. Yea only $125 !!The upper of the shoe has a durabuck material, a material similar to nubuck in some ways. They also feature anti-inversion cross straps, poly carbonate torsion plate, air sole, and an inner sock similar to the Nike Air Huarache. These are said to be the heaviest of all Air Jordans, but trust me when i tell you, you dont really feel any real weight. Also they arent very breatheable, which is another way of saying that the heat from your feet, isnt easily realized from the shoe, which leads to perspiration, which leads to atheletes foot. This might be the reason why Michael Jordan himself suffured from atheletes foot during the 1992-1993 season. During the home games of this season, MJ would make a detour on the way to the stadium & give 4 tickets to the same 4 kids from a rough south side chicago neiborhood. During that time, no sneaker had a such a radical design , there is many things going on at the same time with this shoe. The shoe has 2 cross straps, which is said to symbolize bugs bunnies ears, because during that time the Jordan Brand & Looney toones had some sort of marketing skeeme. So this is why they Air Jordan 8's are sometimes refered to as the "Bunnies". Regardless of all that, this is one of my personal favorite sneakers of all time. You are sure to turn some heads with these on your feet. Peace & Kicks.

Marcus Troy has some photos of this incredible new jacket from Nike called the Storm-FIT ACG Steel City Gore-tex. From the pictures I've seen this will keep you ready for whatever comes your way, winter wise. It looks like the price jump between the regular Storm-FIT ACG Steel City jacket and this one shown here is that this one has Gore-tex. The regular one costs just over $300 USD while this one here with Gore-tex costs about $600.

It's pricey, but it is a killer looking jacket!

Nas x Puchbowlblog

Nas speaks to the Puchbowlblog at the Orange Rock Corps concert in the U.K. about his new collaborative album "Distant Relatives" with Damien Marley, and his next solo project. He then speaks on his absence from “Verbal Intercourse 2″, and says that this is the first time he's hearing about the supposed feature, and when asked about the collaboration

with Jay-Z for "Empire State of Mind" he asks the interviewer to move on to the next question.

Aventura and Obama ?

So I just found out that Aventura will be heading to Washington D.C. on October 13th to perform for “El Presidente” Barack Obama. We all saw Barack brush his shoulders off like Jay-Z, let’s see if he gets his Bachata on with the ‘First Lady’ Michelle Obama. PBS will air their performance on Oct 15th. “Latinos Stand up!”

I've been awaiting for this moment since Summer of 2008. As most of us know Kid Cudi's debut album dropped not to long ago ( September 15 to be exact). I've had some mixed feelings for this dude's music but since two summer's ago I knew he was going to be big. Now that his album is out Im just blown away. Okay not blown, but to admit it's really tight. The only problem is that I wish his lyrics weren't so much as emo rap. But other than that, it's a rad, inspiring, organic piece of work. The beats are just crazy, props to kanye and all other contributers to this album. If you haven't yet, take a listen to the Man On The Moon : The End Of The Day, it's worth it.

More Of An Indie Look. The first time I actually heard this song was in the movie Push, which wasn't that good of a movie. On the other hand, this song has a mellow, yet vibrant flow. That line where they say " Fail with consequence, lose with eloquence", has to be one of the gnarliest lines I've heard thus far, I don't why though haha.

This is a righteous performance by Gnarls Barkley, even thought they are underrated. Cee-lo kills it on almost every song he is on. Don't want to spoil it, but these guys are brilliant. The way how it uses the drum loop on the organ. So minimalist yet powerful. Enjoy.
